The short answer
Reporting a review to Amazon yourself is free. Paid services charge in one of three ways: a success fee for each removed review, a monthly retainer, or a custom quote. Among the providers in our comparison that publish a price per removed review, the fee runs from $180 to $250, as published on October 29, 2026.
Review Magic’s Removal Kit is $29.97 a month. We write every case and you send it, so there is no removal fee. With File It For Me, we file for you at $149 per removal, charged only when Amazon removes the review. On a Done For You plan, from $149 a month, we file every case, and each removal after your free credits costs $99 to $149. If Amazon leaves the review up, there is no removal fee.
The three pricing models
| Model | How you pay | Watch for |
|---|---|---|
| Success fee per removal | A fixed fee each time a review comes down. Nothing if it stays up. | Enrollment or monthly platform fees on top, and how the provider confirms the removal. |
| Monthly retainer | A flat monthly fee, often covering other Amazon support work too. | Whether you pay in months when nothing is removed, and the contract term. |
| Custom quote | A price per case after an assessment. | Get the per-review price in writing before work starts. |

How to compare the real cost
The fee per removal is half the math. The other half is how many of your reviews actually qualify. A low fee on weak cases buys nothing, and a careful provider may remove fewer reviews but keep your account out of trouble.
- Ask what share of filed cases Amazon removes, and how the provider counts it. A rate based on cases filed and a rate based on all of your critical reviews are different numbers.
- Add every fee: enrollment, monthly platform or retainer fees, and success fees.
- Divide by the removals you can realistically expect, not the best case.
- Weigh what a removal is worth. For a listing at 4.2 stars, removing one 1-star review moves a simple average about as much as four new 5-star ratings. Test your own numbers in the rating calculator.
What you can do for free
- Report the review yourself with the Report link under it.
- Run Review Magic’s free scan: paste a product URL or ASIN and see which reviews may qualify. No login or card.
- Use the rating calculator to see what removing or adding ratings does to your average.
